About the Museum

The Museum of Warsaw University of Life Sciences - (WULS/SGGW) was established in 2006 and is located in the building of the WULS Main Library.

It holds collections related to the history of the University as well as people affiliated to that institution and its predecessors: Marymont Institute of Agronomy, the School of Industry and Agriculture of the Museum of Industry and Agriculture and Warsaw Higher School of Agriculture.

The Museum collections include personal papers and archival documents, pictures, old publications, historical teaching aids and research tools and legacies of the WULS professors.

The permanent exhibition entitled „From Marymont to Ursynów” shows the most important events in the history of the University beginning from its roots in Marymont Institute of Agriculture to its contemporary location in Ursynów.

The Museum is responsible for running temporary exhibitions and other projects in cooperation with the University faculties and partner institutions. It also organizes concerts, lectures and meetings, helping thus to integrate the WULS academic community.
