Duplicate Copies Unit

Hours: Monday - Friday   8.30 - 14.30


The collections of this Unit consist of approx. 12,000 items, including:
- Polish and foreign monographs – 8,500
- Polish and foreign journals – 3,500
Most of these duplicates were published in the 19th and 20th century.

All Polish libraries we welcome to cooperate with this Unit.

The current list of duplicate copies prepared by the Unit can be viewed here.

Duplicate copies can be requested by the libraries and other institutions only.
The list of selected items with the stamp of the requesting institution should be sent to the Unit. The National Library of Poland takes precedence in requesting the duplicates. All other requests will be attended to in chronological order.
